If you indeed enjoy hunting Trophy Whitetail Deer, stop, put your pencil down, and make a reservation to go hunting on Vaquero Ranch’s “South Pasture.” South Pasture is bordered with 2.5 miles of the Brazos River. The ranch takes great pride in making sure every hunting season has trophy whitetails available or the hunt will not be booked. Vaquero Ranch’s stocking program starts with three (3) year olds scheduled to be harvested two to three years later, assuring mature trophy whitetails. The south pasture operation feeds protein year round and has over seventy (70) acres of food plots – all inside the high fenced pasture.
To assist us in locating our deer, Vaquero Ranch utilizes high-tech “game cameras” to monitor and track pasture movement.
In addition to providing trophy whitetails, Vaquero Ranch wants the hunter to enjoy and have the “time of their life” with SAFETY being first and foremost. Upon arrival, each hunter will be given a short safety orientation and the hunter’s rifle will be sighted-in at the rifle range. Additionally, each hunter will be required to sign a general release and indemnity agreement.
